ARCHITECTURE

“At Solis, our aim was to create architecture that feels quietly confident – grounded in natural materials like stone and timber, and elevated by light and landscape. The buildings are designed to sit gently within their coastal surrounds, with expansive glazing and abundant greenery creating a seamless dialogue between inside and out.”

Rest. In form, in texture, in time.

Material selections were guided by both context and longevity. Textured natural stone, soft renders, and timber-look battens reflect the tones of the surrounding cliffs while offering resilience in the salt-tinged environment. Subtle metallic accents introduce contrast and warmth, helping to break down the building’s scale and enhance its tactile appeal. These materials are designed to weather gracefully over time, reinforcing a sense of timeless coastal sophistication.

Glow. In rooms where light belongs.

The building has been oriented to optimise natural light and passive ventilation throughout. Primary living spaces face north and east where possible, capturing morning sun breezes, enhancing thermal comfort. These sustainable design principles not only support well being but align with the relaxed rhythms of beachside living.
